For people
- Search what was said, not just titles, with highlighted matches; choosing a result opens the conversation at the matching message. See Finding a conversation.
- Projects: conversations grouped under shared instructions (up to 8,000 characters) and files (up to 20). See Projects.
- Switch between retried replies with ‹ 2 / 3 ›; the reply you leave showing is the one the model, exports, share links and search use.
- Mermaid diagrams render in conversations and share pages.
- Wrap long code lines in Settings → Customization.
- Export everything as a zip, and import from ChatGPT or Claude. See Your data.
For administrators
- Features per role on Roles & access: web search, attachments, share links, temporary chats, branching and projects, and the reasoning levels each role may choose. A feature is available only when both the instance and the role allow it. Defaults match the earlier fixed rules. See Roles and access.
- Default reasoning level on General.
Fixes
A retried reply no longer leaves both answers in the model's context; counts that always read 0 in the trash, announcements and policies are fixed; % and _ in searches match literally.
Removed: the unused Canvas and MCP feature switches.
Upgrading from v0.6.x
Migrations 0022 to 0025. 0023 builds a search index that blocks writes to messages while it builds on a large instance; see the v0.7.0 upgrade notes, including how to build the index beforehand. Deploy the API and web images as a pair. New optional environment variable: IMPORT_MAX_UPLOAD_BYTES.
